Greater Newark Enterprises Corporation (GNEC) is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 whose primary mission is economic development in the communities GNEC serves. GNEC contracted S&A Technologies to implement a transactional software solution to track all their loan applications and technical assistant services. GNEC’s goal was to provide a system that enables the company to process more loan application with the same staffing level. S&A Technologies’ development was done in close collaboration with the staff of GNEC. The implemented solution fits exactly the needs of the loan officers and streamlined their daily work. Management uses the reporting to monitor the progress of their organization.

Coldwell Banker Smart Home Course
Interactive Micro-learning
Coldwell Banker Real Estate is a leading national franchise real estate company. Coldwell Banker selected S&A Technologies to design and develop an interactive micro-learning program on smart home technology. S&A Technologies was responsible for interactive & instructional design, scripting, talent, and studio videotaping, motion & animation graphics and editing.
S&A Technologies’ team employed a responsive design so that the program plays on any digital device. The final course was delivered to over 10,000 real estate sales person as part of their sales training.

Coldwell Banker Smart Home Quiz
Accompanying the Coldwell Banker training program was a self-assessment quiz with the purpose to find out a participant’s knowledge on smart home technology. What made this quiz unique was the use of remedial video loops: in case a participant submitted an incorrect answer, they were shown the portion of the video that supported the correct answer.

Hazmat
Augmented Reality
Rutgers School of Public Health had a need to improve its training on hazardous materials - Explosive, Radiation, Oxygen Depletion, etc.,
and to include field simulations of hazardous incidents. They contracted with Cell Podium to develop a smartphone based HazMat Sensor Training Simulator.
The project was funded by a grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health and Science, NIEHS. All design, development and programming was done by S&A Technologies.
The sensor replicates real-like hazard material readings found in the field using Android, Bluetooth and iBeacon technology.

Luuva Music approached S&A Technologies with a unique idea: creating a social networking site and virtual community for musicians, writers, retailers, and music related businesses. As with any other social site the application had to scale, be easy to access anytime and anywhere, and finally to be engaging and personal.

A newly published author, Dr. OBey’s book titled, “EAT One/Half Make Weight Loss Easy.” S&A Technologies designed and developed a “Eat One/Half”

Website Design
New Jersey Innovation Institute is an NJIT corporation focused on working with both businesses and government agencies
on a wide range of innovative projects. NJII draws on NJIT’s academic resources to help create medical, engineering and information technology solutions.
S&A Technologies was selected by NJII’s management to design, build and host its website.
S&A Technologies was responsible for the technical requirements, UI/UX design and development.

United States Air Force
US Air Force issued an agency-wide requirement to standardize the look and feel of its online courses. The challenge they faced was that most courses had a different design resulting from different course developments done by different vendors. It caused navigation and user issues for Air Force employees while taking the online courses. Through a NJIT DoD grant, S&A Technologies was selected by the USAF to design and build an open source “E-Learning template”, with the objective to provide a course with a standardized user interface and page familiarity. S&A Technologies provided an additional service by designing several types of interactivities and page design choices.
Micro-Learning
Micro-videos are short format videos focused on a single topic or learning objective. Here you can see an example of a micro-video, one of a series of training videos produced by S&A Technologies for GAF Building Materials. Each video of this series is about a potential problem that could arise during installation of GAF shingles. S&A Technologies also created videos covering issues on roof construction and repair.

Micro-Hybrid Course
Micro-hybrid courses represent an important part of Micro-Learning. Each course contains a combination of self-paced pages with learning activities and a video; some of them might have an additional assessment. A responsive design gives a participant the opportunity to take his/her course on any digital devices. Here you can see an example of a micro-course, one of a 10-part micro-course series, developed by S&A Technologies as part of a GAF collaboration with Lowe’s Home Improvement.
Data Science and Technician Tools
S&A Technologies has a longstanding relationship with Menssana Research, Inc., a company providing medical devices and equipment. We developed software interfaces for Menssana’s research technicians. S&A Technologies provides expertise in statistical modeling and analysis of Menssana’s chromatographic data. S&A Technologies has the mathematical understanding to do quantitative analysis and develop algorithms that screen patients for lung cancer, tuberculosis and other diseases.

TuOrbit is a multimedia platform that allows users to securely collaborate and share “Moments” by location while maintaining a user’s anonymity. Via “Moments by TuOrbit” an audience is able to stay connected with minimal effort. Our team designed and developed the corresponding app, for both iOS and Android operating systems.
